i have a 9 yr old, an i would not ever allow him to use internet unless it was intended for some sort of school use, and even then i would be right their with him, mointering his actions at all times.and he is not allowed more than 15 min at a time regaurdless.i think it is sad that their are parents out there who do not even set any limits or rules for their children.by letting children have free range of internet acsess,we are letting them out and into an unknown cyber world..and acess /use of a device to comunicate with who knows...people that dont monitor their childrens internet useage/ how long their stay on the internet are in doing so allowing anyone an everyone to have acsess to their kids...and children at any age dont think about someone could be out their, or could/ would want to hurt them. but parents we need to step up and mointor our childrens computer acsess, all things that they do on their and set it up to were after so many minutes of their use the computer shuts down... we need to take control and stop them from finding or doing things that they shouldnt be.. when it comes to our children and their safety their is NEVER room for failure..we should let them socialize face to face with their friends and kids their own age...MONITOR & KNOW ALL THAT THEY DO. TEACH OUR FURTURE GENIRATIONS TO BE SOCIALY STABLE IN THE WORLD OUTSIDE OF CYBER LAND!!! computers are not safe for anyone,i dont care how much you think you may know.......we only have one shot as parents no matter how many children we have in our lives..... we should take all precautions with any and all things , we can never know for a fact that supervised or unsupervised useage will keep the ones we charish most in this world safe...AND THEIR IS NO ACCEPTIABLE BEHAVIOR GOING ON WHEN OUR CHILDREN ARE UNSUPERVISED... THATS A FACT...
